The starting point.
Architect Building Center is a construction and renovation company specialising in turnkey residential and commercial projects across Slovakia. Built on WordPress, the website is designed to showcase completed projects, build trust through company experience and customer reviews, and encourage prospective clients to request consultations for construction and renovation services. As part of a complete Google Analytics 4 Setup and Google Tag Manager implementation, the objective was to measure every meaningful customer interaction across the website. Reliable conversion tracking was essential to understand how visitors engaged with the company’s services, identify which marketing channels generated qualified enquiries, and provide accurate data for future Google Ads conversion tracking and campaign optimisation.
Lead interactions going untracked before consultation requests
Without a reliable Google Analytics 4 implementation, the business could not accurately measure how visitors interacted with the website before requesting a consultation. Contact forms and phone calls represented the primary lead generation channels, yet valuable customer interactions were not being tracked consistently. Because advertising performance depended on incomplete conversion data, attribution was unreliable and future Google Ads optimisation would have been based on assumptions rather than verified customer enquiries.
Full GA4 + GTM event tracking, Hotjar, and Google Ads imports
A complete Google Analytics 4 Setup was implemented using Google Tag Manager as the central measurement platform. Rather than measuring only submitted contact forms, the tracking strategy focused on capturing every meaningful step within the customer journey. Custom events were designed to measure consultation requests, contact form submissions, phone number clicks, and thank-you page visits. This created a reliable lead generation tracking framework capable of measuring the website’s most valuable customer interactions. To improve behavioural analysis, Hotjar was integrated alongside GA4, providing heatmaps and session recordings that complemented quantitative analytics with qualitative user insights. After validating every event in GA4 DebugView and Google Tag Manager Preview Mode, the primary conversions were imported into Google Ads. This enabled automated bidding strategies to optimise campaigns using verified consultation requests instead of page views or traffic metrics.
