Refund Policy

1. Discovery and audit fees
Diagnostic engagements (Growth Plan, audits) are billed as a fixed fee, paid in advance. The fee is fully refundable if you cancel before we begin work. Once we have started, the fee is refundable on a pro-rated basis up to the deliverable hand-off; after delivery, the fee is non-refundable but is creditable against any subsequent build engagement signed within 60 days.
2. Build engagements
Build engagements are milestone-based and invoiced as each milestone is delivered and accepted. Accepted milestones are non-refundable. If you choose to cancel mid-engagement, you will be billed for time and materials on any in-progress milestone up to the cancellation date, and we will deliver all completed work product to you.
3. Monthly retainers
Retainers (care plans, ongoing operations) are billed monthly in advance. You may cancel for the next billing cycle at any time with 30 days written notice to info@lumienai.com. The current month’s retainer is non-refundable; we will continue to deliver services through the end of the paid period.
4. Subscription products
Care plan subscriptions can be cancelled anytime. No refunds for partial months. Access continues until the end of the paid period.
5. Disputed charges
If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us at info@lumienai.com within 30 days of the invoice date and we will investigate in good faith. We respond within 5 business days.
6. Force majeure
Refunds will not be issued for delays or cancellations caused by events outside reasonable control (acts of God, government action, strikes, internet outages affecting third-party platforms we depend on).
7. Method of refund
Refunds are issued via the same payment method used for the original charge, within 10 business days of approval.
